Haul: Sephora

I'm pretty sure about everyone who loves makeup received a $15-$20 gift card from Sephora for being a beauty insider, VIB, or VIB Rouge. I waited till the last day to purchase as I don't really need any more makeup I was on the search for more skincare items. My acne still hasn't cleared yet because of my allergic reaction so I was trying to be a little more careful with what I used on my face. I ended up picking a few things that I think should help my face stay hydrated for the time being.
My three samples I picked are the WEI purifying mud mask, the LANCOME DreamTone, and the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer.
I picked up this moisturizer by philosophy from Sephoras 25 Days of MerryCrazyGiveaways. All I typed into the promo code section of the checkout is "merrymini". Each day there is a new item and you can pick which ever one you want. While supplies last that it is.
My box of goodies...now on to what I actually purchased.
I picked up the philosophy live and dream in hope bonus pack for $40. The bonus pack has the 2 oz hope in a jar which retails for $40 by itself. It also came with a 0.5 oz of hope in a jar night. I know a lot of people don't like the smell of hope in a jar but I received a sample of it and while using the sample I really enjoyed the way it cleared up acne.
Since I was picking up skincare items I decided to pick up the Josie Maran Argon Head to Toe Radiance duo for $16. I know they had another duo of the original Josie Maran Argon Oil and the Argon Oil light but I decided to go with this set.
To get my cart to $50 for free shipping and to use my $15 off of $50 I added the Too Faced Ready. Set. Prime. duo. It comes with both the original Too Faced shadow insurance and the Candlelight version for I think $12. There's .17 oz of product per tube and for a full size there is .35 oz per tube so I think this was a pretty awesome deal.

As a whole I am excited to use everything and see how it goes. Thanks for reading and I'll see you all later!

HAUL: Bath and Body Works Candles

If you didn't know, last week Bath and Body Works was having their candles on sale for only $8. It was an amazing deal but I had a 30% off coupon from living social so I paid less then $8. The only upsetting thing about it was that I didn't get the chance to go to Bath and Body Works until late Friday night so most of the candles had already been picked through. I ended up with only four candles from the Holiday collection but none the less I am pretty happy with the scents I picked up.
Who else gets this excited about candles? I know I'm not the only one and especially at these prices!
With my 30% off coupon I only paid $5.60 per candle. For 4 candles I ended up paying only $24.50. If you as obsessed with candles as I am then check out livingsocial.com because they always have coupons and other great deals.
The first scent I picked up is Cranberry Pear Bellini. It's a nice year round kind of scent but I use to have the wallflower bulb of this and I think I kind of over did the scent. I used it everyday during the summer so I'm kind of over it but it would be nice to burn every now and then.

This scent is described as "Bubbly and delicious - a bright blend of sparkling cranberry, sweet pear nectar and luscious blackcurrant - Cheers!" The description is right on. You can definitely smell the cranberry and the pear nectar. I'm not sure what blackcurrant smells like so I can't really give you a straight answer with that.
The next candle I picked up is in Peach Bellini which was sitting right in front of the entrance and it was just calling my name so I picked it up. This scent is described as "A shimmering holiday twist on a classic blend of white peach, tart blackcurrant and a splash of juicy orange." If you've ever smelt the peach flavored yogurt then that is this candles exact smell. With just a little more bubbly-ness to it.
Third candle I picked up is Twisted Peppermint. This candle is described as "Merry and bright peppermint celebrates the season with notes of vanilla and sugary musk in this cheer-filled scent." If you purchased Marshmallow Peppermint from a few years ago then this smells exactly like that. Just with a little musk, more peppermint, and less vanilla. I personally like it but my husbands thinks it's too sweet. It's a good thing I didn't buy any bakery scented candles or I'm pretty sure he would have flipped out.
This last candle is the one I'm most excited about. It's Sparkling Icicles! This scent is described as "As sparkling as the ice at the local skating pond, this fragrance features a citrus bouquet, bergamot, and a touch of holiday moss." I'm not sure how holiday moss is supposed to smell like but I can definitely smell the bergamot/citrus.  But honestly if I were to put this scent in my own words I would say that if Dark Temptations by AXE and Twilight Woods for men by Bath and Body Works were to have a baby, this would be the scent. My husband uses both Dark Temptations and Twilight Woods for men so this smell reminds me of my husband.

Overall I am happy with this purchase and I can not wait to start burning these amazing candles.

Ipsy December 2013

It finally came. Actually, it came the other day but I didn't have time to post but here it is anyways! I know I haven't been posting my monthly Ipsy bags but that's because by the time I get my Ipsy there are so many videos and blogs out already that I end up just not posting but since this month came a little faster than the past few months here it is.
Anyone else getting excited? I know I am...

This months bag is this awesome black patterned bag. Cute and I'll probably get some use out of this bag.
Can you guess my first item that's at the very top of my bag?
First thing in the bag are these duo fragrance mini samples for him and her by English Laundry. On the back of the box it says "Fresh and iconic, the English Laundry brand created by Christopher Wicks merges British style with a twist of rock & roll for him and her." I haven't tried them just yet because I'm not sure which ones which and I'm not a big perfume person either. This to me was a complete miss.
The second thing I pulled out is this polish by Nicka K in the number NY139. It doesn't have a name but on the Ipsy website it says it is in the color Ripe Apple.
Next, I got the NYX lipstick in Sky Pink. It's a shimmery pinky nude which I think is wearable but I hate anything that's shimmery on my lips. Personally, shimmers just not my thing.
This is the Pop Beauty trio in Smokin Hot. I didn't do swatches because I will doing a GRWM video. Hopefully soon but I'm not sure just yet as my post allergic reaction acne still hasn't gone away yet.
Lastly at the bottom of the bag was the be a...bombshell the one stick in the shade Flustered. It's a red color with gold flecks of glitter. I'm not a big fan of red and I'm not a big fan of glitter.
This months bag was a great deal but sadly Ipsy match just didn't work out for me as I received a lot of items I just wasn't impressed with. Perhaps, if I had received different shades or something along those lines I think this would have been the perfect bag.

HAUL: Ulta Black Friday

I know I've been MIA and I apologize for that. It's been hard juggling my sick daughter and a really bad break out/allergic reaction that's not going away. I will try and get back in to my normal blogging routine as quickly as I can. Until then here is my quick and small Ulta black Friday haul.

I didn't order anything special. I only picked up two of Ultas black Friday deals. After I received my order I really wish I had picked up more of the Benefit Lip Lotto. Funny thing about this order is that when I received my box I didn't get any samples. My invoice states that I opted for the variety sampler but obviously I didn't get any. I emailed Ulta and they are shipping me samples as I blog.

The item that I purchased and wished I would have picked up a few more of is the Benefit Lip Lotto. They were only $18 for three full size benefit lipsticks. Originally $18 per full size lipstick so this deal was awesome.

The only other thing I purchased was the Tarte Special Delivery Eye & Cheek Collection. This set includes a full size Amazonian clay smart mascara, a mini sample size of the multiplEYE prime lash enhancing primer, and a mini Amazonian clay blush in Magic.

The blush is a coral-y baby pink shade but I feel like its not as pigmented as the original shades. It is a pretty shade, that I must admit. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase and I look forward to next years black Friday deals.

Julep December 2013

This months Julep was so great and had so many beautiful colors but I only picked up a few shades that I knew I didn't already have in my collection. My monthly box is usually the "It Girl" but I really wanted to try the eyeshadow palette that Julep offered this month so I upgraded to the "Classic With A Twist" box and "added on" a few polishes.
This months box was funny because I received my ship confirmation on Sunday and received my box on Monday.
Classic With A Twist had two polishes and the eyeshadow palette. The box also came with twist ties but my son lost them so I didn't even take a photo. The three polishes on the left are my add on polishes.
The eyeshadow palette I think is actually really nice and pretty pigmented. The texture is pretty smooth too, so I can not wait to try it out. The metallic burgundy shade is Jullian and the silvery green shade is Mia.

Two out of three shades were from the "It Girl" box. Ceila is the middle polish. Its a metallic mermaid color which is gorgeous! Evelyn is a vampy magenta purple which I think is great for fall. The blue shade came from the "Boho Glam" box but it's called Misti.

Haul: American Eagle & Forever21

I have a pretty big clothing haul for you guys today! I normally don't haul clothing but I think the deals I got are just too good to not say anything. I made three separate orders at two different online stores. The first being Forever21 and the second being American Eagle. I did use ebates.com so I received 2.0% cashback for all my purchases.

My first purchase was from Forever21 and it was a small one. I told myself this was going to be my only clothing purchase. Obviously it didn't work out but I'll start off with what I purchased at Forever21.
This cardigan is actually the only reason I was placing this order. I don't remember who it was I saw wearing a cardigan like from sheinside that was $30 but honestly I was not about to buy a cardigan for $30. After some searching I found this on Forever21's website on sale for only $18.99. I ended up picking up 2 of them and I'm super excited for having them. They are super soft and snuggle-y.
These are a pair of distressed skinny jeans that were on sale from the plus size section. If you didn't know then yes, I am bottom heavy and I wear plus size jeans. They were on sale for $12.99 but I saved an extra $1.30 making them $11.69 because ebates had a code to save 10% off all plus size clothes.
Th last item I purchased from Forever21 are these zippered coated leggings. They are matte and I should have purchased them in a larger size. They fit but are a little snug so I hope with some wear they will stretch and fit a little better than they do now. I purchased these at full price for $13.80. To me it's kind of expensive for a pair of leggings but I was in need of a pair of matte faux leather leggings so at the same time its justifiable.

Now on to what I purchased at American Eagle. Like stated above I wasn't going to make a purchase but since American Eagle was having their friends and family sale I ended up picking up a few things. Almost everything I ordered was from their sale section except one item but I'll get into that later. So, basically if you purchased from the sale/clearance section then you were saving about 60%. No one can really pass up 60% can they?
My most boring purchase and most expensive from my first order is this metallic knit beanie. Even after my 30% off it still came out to be $13.99. I'm in need of a beanie anyways so I can some what justify this purchase since it's getting really chilly here in Arkansas.
This tank is a very basic piece but none the less a must have for every wardrobe. I paid only $5.03 for this.
This lace paneled peplum tank I got for $6.29. Very cute and I love the lace detailing on it.
This here is the happy hour t-shirt. The front of the shirt looks like a normal t-shirt but the back has this cute sheer backside. I paid $10.49 for this shirt but it was too cute to pass up.
These white pair of jeans were from my first order. After all my discounts I paid only $12.59 for them. The blue ones were also $12.59 but they were super cute. I love the embroidered design.
The white and the blue jean farthest to the right are the same jeans from the picture above. The jegging all the way to the left I paid $14.69 for. Nothing special but I need a few more pairs of jeans, jeggings, leggings, in my life so I picked that up. I picked up the second jean from the right as I was in need of a dark wash jean. I no longer have any that fit me so I picked that up for $14.69 also.
The last item I picked up were these really cute lace detailed shorts. I paid only $6.29 which in my mind is pretty good. I love how it kind of fringes at the bottoms so I'm in love.
I think I did exceptionally good. My first American Eagle purchase came up to $101.95 and after the 30% off, I only paid $53.23. My second American Eagle purchase retailed for $114.96 but I only paid $53.03.  I am pretty happy with my entire haul and I can not wait to start wearing everything. Thanks for reading I'll see you guys later!
