Haul & Review: Loreal Colour Riche leMatte & laLaque

I made a Walgreens run the other to pick up some allergy medicine for my mom and I finally found the new Loreal Colour Riche leMattes and the laLaques. I thought they were only sold at Target but apparently Walgreens has them for $7.99. I also heard that people have been finding them at rite aid too so definitely check these places out too.

I didn't take any photos of the display but they were right in front by the doors. They didn't hide these like they normally do so I was super happy to find them. Sadly, there weren't that many colors left so I only picked up two shades. One shade from each line.
The leMatte is in the shade Matte For Me and the laLaque is in the shade Lacquer-ized.

Here are swatches of the two shades. The leMatte is a deep pink on the verge of being almost red. As for the laLaque it is pretty purple under toned pinky-purple.
Forgive my no make up face but here is the swatch of the laLaque. It is really pretty and like said on the packaging it is super pigmented. I have naturally pigmented lips and with only one go around my lips you probably wouldn't ever know.
The leMatte shade like I said is so deeply pink that its almost red. Personally I don't like matte lipsticks so thus I feel that this basically feels like any other matte lipstick. Kind of drying but not too bad and well pigmented.

As a whole I like the laLaque more the leMattes. I would really love to get my hands on the rest of the shades so until then I think will be obsessing over finding them.

NOTD - Check Me Out + Sienna

I did my nails this past weekend and I've been waiting to do this post as I wanted to see how long the nail polish would last. Honestly, I was not blown away by the results but I love the colors and the design none the less.

The design on my ring and thumb fingers where just an epic fail at doing a fishnet design. I do like the way it ended up looking but I think I would have just preferred to have been successful at the fishnet design.
The main nail polish that I painted on all of my nails was the Loreal color in number103 Check Me Out.
On my accent nails I used the Julep color in Sienna.

NOTD 05.15.13 Featuring Joan & Check Me Out

I did my nails a few nights ago but didn't get to blog so here it is. It's super simple and cute. ENJOY!
THE FINISHED LOOK
PRODUCTS USED:
Julep Nail Color in Joan
-Dark burgandy red with red micro shimmers.
Loreal Paris Nail Color in Check Me Out
-Bright doll house pink with micro shimmers.

Joan is a beautiful dark burgandy red. It has red micro shimmers that almost look gold when reflecting in the light. My photos do this color no justice what so ever. What you see in the bottle is what you will get on your nails in one coat. I love this color and I would totally recommend it.

On my accent nails I used Check Me Out by Loreal. In the bottle it is a bright barbie pink with blue micro shimmers and gives off a blue sheen. On the nails it is basically a bright barbie pink with little to no shimmers. Not even a blue sheen. You have to look very closely in order to even notice the micro shimmers. The bottle is very deceiving but it is none the less a very pretty color.

If you would like to check Julep out I will leave my invitation link below.
