Mini Target Dollar Spot Haul

I picked up a few things from Target the other day from the dollar section when I went couponing. I didn't get much but I just wanted to show you the cute stuff I got.

I picked up this cute stationary set for $3. Super cute! I basically only bought it for the floral page flags though. I have an obsession with floral print. So you'll probably seeing alot of that in Spring. Especially with my plan with me posts.

I also bought this set. This was also $3. I mainly got it for the bottom half of the set and it screamed my name when I saw it.

I feel like these are post its that I can use all the time in my planner so this was a good deal in my opinion. If you've found anything that might catch my eyes definitely comment with a photo.

Rimmel ScandalEyes Precision Micro Eyeliner

What are your thoughts on Rimmel ScandalEyes precision micro eyeliner? The one I have is "waterproof" but I wanted to bring up something that has been happening to me with this particular item. If you've had a similar experience with this please let me know in the comments that I'm not the only one.

I've had this for a while now and I've been using it on and off. I didn't realize until yesterday that this made me eyelids itch then burn which in turn made them water. Literally right after I applied this to my lash line, it started to itch a little. After a few seconds I felt a faint burning sensation then my eyes began to water. I was literally crying because my eyes wouldn't stop watering.

I itched my watery eyes and guess what came off. You guessed it. The eyeliner came off. So much for "waterproof". I looked in the mirror and my eye makeup was still good by my eyeliner had smudged, transferred to the top of my eyelids and ran because my eyes were watering so badly and from me itching my eyelids. After the eyeliner had been smudged and scratched off from me scratching my eyelids the burning stopped and my eyes stopped watering.

I don't know if I'm allergic to something in this but whatever it was it hurt. My eyelids aren't swollen or anything they just itched. I shook it up before applying just in case but it still burned. My eyes aren't overly sensitive so I'm not sure why this made my eyes itch and burn. So you might want to skip this but I really do love all their waterproof kohl kajal eyeliners though if you're in the market for them. Especially, the black, brown and nude ones and they are about the same price as this item.

I really wanted to love this because the applicator is nice and the color payoff is super great but it just had to itch and burn. None the less I still like Rimmel. Just this product didn't work out.

Target Dollar Spot

I found a few of the new holiday dollar spot items a few others so I just wanted to drop in and show you all what I got. I am sorry about not posting as I'm getting swamped with finals and projects. Thanks for understanding.

If you are familiar with the Halloween washi tapes that were shaped like spiders and skulls then this exactly the same. But instead of being glittery skulls and spiders this one in particular is a green foiled Christmas tree cut out.

I found these three super cute Christmas themed sticker books. If you can't find the Rudolph sticker book check the kids section of the dollar spot. That is where I found mine. The other two sticker books I found just this past weekend.

Last things I found were these sticky flags. Super excited about finding the Christmas themed ones because they were literally the last ones that were way at the bottom and furthest from the front. I would like to think that I scored because I don't normally get lucky and find any of the holiday items. What did you find at your target. Leave a comment so I can try and hunt them down too.

Target Deal

Coupon Alert to all you coupon ladies! I was at target today and picked up a goodie. I could have gotten a better deal but sadly I forgot to print an extra coupon so I didn't get the best deal but I wanted to tell you guys about it.

Gain flings and I believe Tide pods in the 35 count are on sale for $9.99. If you buy 2 you get a $5 gift card. If you use Targets Cartwheel App there's a 5% off offer. I printed off a $2.00 off Gain flings 23 count or larger from FreeFlys. I had a $3.00 off one Gain flings or Tide pods 42 count or larger that I left in my car. I was supposed to print another $2.00 off coupon from freeflys before I went to the store but forgot. Since I live 45 minutes away from Target, I obviously was not going to be able to get another coupon. I guess I wasn't meant to get the best deal. That is why I felt I had to inform you all.

Scenario 1:
Buy two Gain flings or Tide pods 35 count. $9.99 x 2 = $19.98
Use 2 $2.00 off coupons from Freeflys. ($2.00 x 2 = $4.00)
$19.98 - $4.00 = $15.98
Get back a $5 gift card
$15.98 - $5.00 = 10.98

The scenario isn't even including the 5% off offer from the cartwheel app.

Plan with me + Target Haul

I've been going crazy as of late. So I'm sorry I haven't been posting as much as I normally do. I should be getting back to normal soon. Only four more weeks until finals!

Anyways...I thought since I have been MIA for longer than a week I thought I should still show you my planner for last week + this weeks plan.

PLAN WITH ME!

Last weeks was pretty plain. I didn't really have time to play with it much so there's not much to it. But if you look closely on Wednesday I put my sticker on the bottom third up side down...

This week I planned it pretty plain too. Definitely has a Thanksgiving vibe though. Went with leaves to get that Autumn feeling. I also stuck to a lot of orange. Colors that remind of fall.

 TARGET HAUL

All my goodies I purchased a few weeks back. Gotta love clearance and the dollar spot. Even though it is no longer called "the dollar spot" it's okay. We all still know it as the dollar spot.

I got this set at the dollar spot for $3. You get the usual stickers, page flags, and recently they've been adding these small little magnetic bookmarks or whatever you want to call them.

I got the set of pens for either $1 or $3. I'm not sure anymore since it's been a while. I really like the blue and gold gel pens but the light blue one is actually like a lime green color. I can barely even see what I'm writing when I'm writing. Even afterwards I still feel like I can't read it.

I also picked up these super adorable sticky flags. I love penguins if you didn't know so I HAD to pick these up no matter what. I don't think I found any of the big sticky notes but when I do...I think I might just pick the all up.

The last thing I picked up because they were super cute were these set of 4 glass magnets. They were on clearance with all the Halloween items. They were originally $1 each but I got them for .30 cents each. The magnets aren't that great but they are just going on my fridge to hold up my kids drawings from school.

My next post may be a drag, just FYI. I'm having a horrible experience with a company and debating if I should post it on here if the matter ever gets resolved. Anyways, thank you for stopping by.

Planner 10/17-10/23

This weeks plan with me theme I made a little cooler since my themes as of late have been a lot warmer in color. I went with a blue with gold here and there. Very simple.

Basically everything is the same as last week it's just different pictures and washi. But they are all from the same places.

Sorry for the late post though. It was parent/teacher conference today.

FOOD: Best Home Made Pizza EVER!

It was pizza day today at our house. So I thought I'd blog about it. Even though I was actually planning to blog about our pizza day.

Everything was made from scratch except for the sausage, pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Those I kind of cheated on and just bought them from the store. I though I'd blog about the most wonderful pizza dough that I've ever made. I actually got the recipe from Crouton Crackerjacks if you wanted to give his recipe a try. The video is linked above so by all means check him out!

The recipe calls for:
2 T sugar
3/4 cup warm water
1 t active dry yeast
1 t salt
1 T olive oil
2 cups all purpose flour

This is how my yeast ended up looking like. I took a photo too soon but your yeast should foam up pretty good after 10 or so mins.

We live in Arkansas and it's starting to cool down a lot so I couldn't throw my dough in my car like I normally do and let it rise that way. So today I preheated my oven to the lowest it could go and then turned the oven off and let the dough sit in the oven. It came out perfectly fine. I threw on some pizza sauce I made then topped it off with cheese, pepperoni, sausage, green and red bell peppers, and some mushrooms. Obviously you can top your pizza with whatever you want but this is what he had.

We also made a stuffed crust pizza with the same pizza dough. My kids love it! We've been using this recipe for about a good 6 months or so now. We still enjoy it. It may be a little bit more time consuming but I feel like I save just a tad bit of money making it at home. I can make two pizzas for about the same price of one pizza if I were to buy it. Plus the little ones love to help.
