Monthly Favorites

All my favorites this month are great. However, in conjunction with one another they are even better. One of my favorites for a few months now (but I haven't been blogging) is the YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer. It is great for smoothing over any dry patches you may have on your skin.

The second item I have as a favorite is the Too Faced Peach Blur Translucent Smoothing Finishing Powder. I know a few bigger youtubers and bloggers don't really like this but I love it. It works great to smooth over and blur any imperfections that I have.
In my experience you can not use a fluffy brush with this powder. You have to use a denser brush that's going to be able to pick up the powder without fluffing it up and away. Personally, I like to use this Tarte brush from the 2017 holiday collection. However, I think that any dense brush you own will work.

Don't always take a fellow blogger or youtuber,s likes and dislikes so seriously. Especially because every ones skin is different. What may work on one may not work on another. If you are curious about a certain product definitely try it out for yourself. If you don't like it there is always the option of returning it. These two products together are a match made in heaven for my skin. I hope you liked the post and maybe even try out the products in the future.

Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Blush

My apologies but I've been busy with having two jobs. I'll be back to normal and blogging more often hopefully soon.

I've had these blushes for a few months and I've been using them quite frequently. They are so gorgeous! I purchased them a few months back when Ulta was having their 21 days of beauty steals. I got both for $15 each which was a pretty amazing deal especially because they retail for $30 each.

My favorite out of the two that I purchased would have to be Something About Berry. It's the deepest out of the three available shades.

Out of the two that I have Something About Berry would be the more pigmented blush. They both have a shimmery sheen but Something About Berry has less shimmer and more pigmentation. Since there are three shades in this one blush if you wanted to you could pick up just one shade and apply that with a small blush brush.

The top shades is a mauve-y lilac shade that could work both as a blush or highlighter. The middle shade is a pinky champagne shade that would work perfectly for a hightlight. The bottom shade is a dark shade of pink and is very wearable as a blush on its own. All three shades swirled together makes a beautiful shade also.

The top and bottom shades seem to be the same shade and the middle shade is a light pinky shade. When swirled together the end result is a very shimmery golden peach with the slightest hint of pink.Very gorgeous but just a little too shimmery for my liking.

Haul: Sephora

I'm pretty sure about everyone who loves makeup received a $15-$20 gift card from Sephora for being a beauty insider, VIB, or VIB Rouge. I waited till the last day to purchase as I don't really need any more makeup I was on the search for more skincare items. My acne still hasn't cleared yet because of my allergic reaction so I was trying to be a little more careful with what I used on my face. I ended up picking a few things that I think should help my face stay hydrated for the time being.
My three samples I picked are the WEI purifying mud mask, the LANCOME DreamTone, and the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer.
I picked up this moisturizer by philosophy from Sephoras 25 Days of MerryCrazyGiveaways. All I typed into the promo code section of the checkout is "merrymini". Each day there is a new item and you can pick which ever one you want. While supplies last that it is.
My box of goodies...now on to what I actually purchased.
I picked up the philosophy live and dream in hope bonus pack for $40. The bonus pack has the 2 oz hope in a jar which retails for $40 by itself. It also came with a 0.5 oz of hope in a jar night. I know a lot of people don't like the smell of hope in a jar but I received a sample of it and while using the sample I really enjoyed the way it cleared up acne.
Since I was picking up skincare items I decided to pick up the Josie Maran Argon Head to Toe Radiance duo for $16. I know they had another duo of the original Josie Maran Argon Oil and the Argon Oil light but I decided to go with this set.
To get my cart to $50 for free shipping and to use my $15 off of $50 I added the Too Faced Ready. Set. Prime. duo. It comes with both the original Too Faced shadow insurance and the Candlelight version for I think $12. There's .17 oz of product per tube and for a full size there is .35 oz per tube so I think this was a pretty awesome deal.

As a whole I am excited to use everything and see how it goes. Thanks for reading and I'll see you all later!

Haul: Sephora Friends and Family

I am pretty sure you all know that Sephora had their friends and family sale that ended last week. I waited till the last day to make my purchase as I wasn't even planing on making a purchase until I remembered that Sephora has most of the Holiday kits up for sale. Since I was already getting 20% percent off I used Ebates to get an additional 4% cash back so I thought "why not?". I did pick up a few other items along the way but none the less I am excited for everything.

My order came on Wednesday but I didn't have time to blog so it is a little late. My husbands been gaming too so I haven't been able to upload pictures as fast as I would like either. I do have to warn you that this post is pretty picture heavy so if you don't like that I am sorry. Now, on to the haul.

As always with sephora packaging theres sample on the top with your invoice. I received a sample of Givenchy Mister Light, Clarins Double Serum, Korres Greek Yoghurt and a sample of a boscia moisturizer.

Heres a quick overview of all the items I purchased. Minus the birthday present from Sephora.
I am pretty sure everyone who loves Sephora knows how the benefit samples look like. But if you don't already know then here's a quick look at what you get. Included is a mini Benefit they're Real mascara and a mini Watts Up.
I know a lot of people were excited for this face palette but I'm on the fence about it. I don't own any NARS blushes other than one of their eyeshadows but I am going to hold on to this palette and try it out anyways.
The only thing I have to say about this item is that I don't know what's what. The only thing I do know is that the bronzer on the bottom left hand corner is Laguna. On the back of the packaging it list all the names of the products included but I honestly don't know which ones Orgasm, Deep Throat, Goulue, Devotee, or Mistinguette. I think the top right hand corner is Orgasm and the one under that is Deep Throught but I'm not sure. Basically, unless you're a die hard fan of NARS you'll probably be like me and not know which one's which.
This was a random item I added because I wanted to try them and it is the Make Up For Ever Ever Lasting Liners set. This set includes three full size aqua eye liners in 0L which is the black, 25L which is a brown and 3L which is a navy blue. It also comes with three mini liners in 23L which is a flesh tone shade, 20L a forest green and 11L a deep plum purple.
I found it odd that it came packaged this way. Don't you? The liners where just folded up in black tissue paper and then thrown inside the box. However, I am still super excited to try these.
This bad boy here is the Too Faced Loves Sephora palette. If I am correct I think this came out last holiday but it was on sale for only $39 which was originally priced at $52. It was too good of a deal for me to pass up so I added it to my cart.
This palette includes 10 shadows, two bronzers, a blush, a mini blush brush, and a mini of their shadow insurance. All this for $39, 20% off of that, and an additional 4% cash back is a deal buster for me.
My last item is my main item that I am most excited for. It is the Tarte cheek palette. If you follow my blog then you know that I made a Tarte order a few months ago. Well my son recently decided to play with my blush stash and broke all my Tarte blushes so this was my only option to get the most bang for my buck and get to try a few more of their blushes.
The palette came with super cute bow bracelet/cuff which is almost too small to fit my wrist. Super cute packaging always gets me so good job Tarte!
The blushes included are in the shades Crave, Dazzled, Darling, and Dollface. The last one is actually their bronzer in Park Ave Princess. Crave is a coral-y pink, Dazzled is a sparkly mauve-y shade bordering a berry color, Darling is a medium coral-peach and Dollface is a bright pink. Park Ave Princess is a matte brown that seems like a shade between a deep brown and a medium brown.

That is all for my haul! I hope you enjoyed my quick post and I will be doing reviews of these items in the future so look out for them.
