Sonia Kashuk Knock Out Beauty Smokey Eye Brush Set

I purchased the Sonia Kashuk knock out beauty smokey eye brush set at Target a few weeks back. I pulled the brushes out of the box and then forgot about them so here we go. The main reason why I wanted this set in the first place was because I wanted to purchase the precision pencil brush which is about $13 or $14 dollars on its own. This set was on clearance for $13.98 so to me this set was a better deal. This set came with 6 brushes. The large eye shadow brush, angled crease brush, blending brush, angled liner brush, small eye shadow brush and the precision pencil brush.

If you want to purchase this set I do believe it is still available online. The best part is that it's cheaper now. The last time I checked it was $9.98 on Target while I purchased mine for $13.98. You get a better deal.

All the brushes feel super soft. If I read correctly these brushes are made with goat hair. So if you don't like animal products DO NOT BUY. Funny thing about this set is that angled liner brush in my set has a white hair. I didn't see it until I brought it home. Washed it just in case but I have not fully and completely put these brushes to the test. Feel free to stick around to see how I feel about them once I use them a few more times.

Wet N Wild Brushes

Last week some time I finally had the chance to go to the bigger Dollar Tree store in my area. I mainly went to look for party supplies for my kids birthday party but I happened to walk into the beauty section. Anyway, I found a few of the Wet n Wild brushes that I've been hearing on youtube so I decided to pick up the ones I thought I'd use the most.

I picked up the Smokey Liner Brush and the Crease Brush. I feel like these are the types of brushes that I have a lot of but I always need more of. Mainly because I'm too lazy to clean my brush. However, as of late I've been kind of busy so I haven't really had the chance to put on makeup. Maybe in the near future I'll be posting an eye look or a full face or something along those lines.

I haven't used either one but they feel super soft. I ran them over my eye to see how they felt and they weren't prickly or anything. I do have high hopes for these two. I believe I bought both of them for a $1 each. Not sure because we all know I lose my receipts before I ever even make it home.

Sorry I didn't take more or better photos of the brushes but I'll give you guys a teaser for a possible next few posts...

Coral Smokey Eyes

Hey guys! I did my makeup this past weekend but didn't get around to posting. I had a wedding to go to and it was memorial day weekend which I was spending with my family. I hope you guys will understand and forgive my late posting. I hope you guys enjoy it.

This is the look I ended up coming up with. It's just a really simple coral wash all over the lid, a red toned brown as a transition color, and a dark grey almost black color in the outer corner. I put a golden bronze color under my inner corner and smudged the same grey/black color on the outer corners under my eye.

This is the ELF 24K 32 piece eyeshadow palette that I used. I haven't used this since I purchased it other than swatch it but I'm happy I finally decided to use it. The quality of this palette is a lot better than the normal big palettes ELF sells. This was a limited edition palette so you probably won't be able to purchased this anymore. I will be posting a full review with swatches up soon so stay tuned.
