FOOD: Best Home Made Pizza EVER!

It was pizza day today at our house. So I thought I'd blog about it. Even though I was actually planning to blog about our pizza day.

Everything was made from scratch except for the sausage, pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Those I kind of cheated on and just bought them from the store. I though I'd blog about the most wonderful pizza dough that I've ever made. I actually got the recipe from Crouton Crackerjacks if you wanted to give his recipe a try. The video is linked above so by all means check him out!

The recipe calls for:
2 T sugar
3/4 cup warm water
1 t active dry yeast
1 t salt
1 T olive oil
2 cups all purpose flour

This is how my yeast ended up looking like. I took a photo too soon but your yeast should foam up pretty good after 10 or so mins.

We live in Arkansas and it's starting to cool down a lot so I couldn't throw my dough in my car like I normally do and let it rise that way. So today I preheated my oven to the lowest it could go and then turned the oven off and let the dough sit in the oven. It came out perfectly fine. I threw on some pizza sauce I made then topped it off with cheese, pepperoni, sausage, green and red bell peppers, and some mushrooms. Obviously you can top your pizza with whatever you want but this is what he had.

We also made a stuffed crust pizza with the same pizza dough. My kids love it! We've been using this recipe for about a good 6 months or so now. We still enjoy it. It may be a little bit more time consuming but I feel like I save just a tad bit of money making it at home. I can make two pizzas for about the same price of one pizza if I were to buy it. Plus the little ones love to help.

Planner 10/10-10/16

I've never done this on my blog before but I thought I'd let you guys in on how busy my little life is. =)
Ever since I started going back to school I kept forgetting to do homework here and there so I started using a planner again. Last year a had a big bulky one I purchased from Walmart. Then at the beginning of this year I purchased a At First Glance planner from Target. Which was pretty expensive and to me was not worth the money. Then right before classes started this semester I started looking for other planners on youtube. And that's when I found this! The Happy Planner.

I purchased the 2017 seasonal Happy Planner from Michael's August 6th or 7th because that's when our state was having our tax holiday.

The pictures that fill up 1/3 of the daily blocks are mainly googled photos. This helps cut down on purchases from etsy stores. I just bought sticker paper from Michael's, printed on them, then cut them out by hand. I could of purchased a sticker cutter but to me it wasn't worth the money since I don't really use my planner or plan outside of the school year or sell on etsy.

My washi tapes are from two main places. Michaels and the Target dollar spot. As for the decorative stickers some are google print outs and Target dollar spot sticker books. The arrows, reminders, and such are from the Happy Planner sticker books.

The pens I usually use for my planner are the PaperMate Flair pens that come in assorted colors. I occasionally use the Sharpie permanent marker with the ultra fine point too.

Next post I'm thinking of doing a late foodie post. So if you're foodie person check out my next blog. Which by the way, may or may not be Thursday. I'm trying to get into blogging again but being a full time student, mom, and farmer is actually hard if you believe it or not.

Anyway, thank you for dropping in and reading my plain and boring posts!

Mini Target/Michaels Haul

This past Friday I went and ended up picking up a few things. I intended to go to Target and pick up the super adorable candy dishes that I was seeing all over youtube. And yes, youtube made me buy it. On a serious note I found them all. If I'm correct there was 5 but I only picked up 4. They were $3 each if you were wondering.
 Jack-o-lantern candy dish

 Cat candy dish

 Ghost candy dish

Cauldron candy dish

The last one that I found but didn't purchase was the mummy candy dish which looked similar to the cauldron dish. The cauldron to me is the only one I can see myself using year round. I ended up passing on the mummy because I felt like eventually (after Halloween) I'm going to be putting away the other three. In my head it made sense not to get them all.

After Target I made a quick voyage to Michaels (three stores down). I saw a few youtubers picking Autumn/Spring and gold/silver foil type paper pads so I wanted to check them out. Sadly I couldn't find the gold/silver paper pads that I saw on youtube. There were gold/silver paper pads but not the ones I saw or anything that caught my eyes. So I kind of passed on those. The ones I did get were more Spring colors but with Autumn patterns.

I bought 4 paper pads for $5.99 each. I also took advantage of Michael's 25% off of your entire purchase. So I basically ended up getting all 4 of the paper pads for less than the full price of 1 of them. Can you say STEAL!

Craft Smith Honeydew

This paper pad had a few gold foiled pages but I didn't take any photos. Sorry. It kept flashing back and I couldn't get a good photo of the foiled. Please forgive me.

Recollections Fall at the Park

I mainly bought this for the fox page but I didn't notice until I got home to further inspect it that there was only 1 page. This paper pad book is kind of weird in the sense that there were multiples of 1 page and others there were only 1 or 2. I'm not so sure since I think this is my first Recollections paper pad.

Craft Smith Fall Embossed

The embossing on the pages is the main reason I bought this paper pad. I intend to turn some of these pages into my planner cover. Whenever I get the free time to.

That is all I picked up. Hope to see you in my next post.

Sonia Kashuk Knock Out Beauty Smokey Eye Brush Set

I purchased the Sonia Kashuk knock out beauty smokey eye brush set at Target a few weeks back. I pulled the brushes out of the box and then forgot about them so here we go. The main reason why I wanted this set in the first place was because I wanted to purchase the precision pencil brush which is about $13 or $14 dollars on its own. This set was on clearance for $13.98 so to me this set was a better deal. This set came with 6 brushes. The large eye shadow brush, angled crease brush, blending brush, angled liner brush, small eye shadow brush and the precision pencil brush.

If you want to purchase this set I do believe it is still available online. The best part is that it's cheaper now. The last time I checked it was $9.98 on Target while I purchased mine for $13.98. You get a better deal.

All the brushes feel super soft. If I read correctly these brushes are made with goat hair. So if you don't like animal products DO NOT BUY. Funny thing about this set is that angled liner brush in my set has a white hair. I didn't see it until I brought it home. Washed it just in case but I have not fully and completely put these brushes to the test. Feel free to stick around to see how I feel about them once I use them a few more times.

Wet N Wild Brushes

Last week some time I finally had the chance to go to the bigger Dollar Tree store in my area. I mainly went to look for party supplies for my kids birthday party but I happened to walk into the beauty section. Anyway, I found a few of the Wet n Wild brushes that I've been hearing on youtube so I decided to pick up the ones I thought I'd use the most.

I picked up the Smokey Liner Brush and the Crease Brush. I feel like these are the types of brushes that I have a lot of but I always need more of. Mainly because I'm too lazy to clean my brush. However, as of late I've been kind of busy so I haven't really had the chance to put on makeup. Maybe in the near future I'll be posting an eye look or a full face or something along those lines.

I haven't used either one but they feel super soft. I ran them over my eye to see how they felt and they weren't prickly or anything. I do have high hopes for these two. I believe I bought both of them for a $1 each. Not sure because we all know I lose my receipts before I ever even make it home.

Sorry I didn't take more or better photos of the brushes but I'll give you guys a teaser for a possible next few posts...

ZzzQuil

A few weeks back I got a box from Influenster and in it was a small purple box. It was ZzzQuil.  It's supposed to be a nighttime sleep aid that is non-habit forming. I only received two pills so I don't know how I'm supposed to test that out. However, the one time I did need it it did the job. I've always had sleep problems so this did the job for when I needed it.

I'm not sure if this is readily available just yet but when it is I do have a $2 coupon that I intend to use. I'm the type of person who even though I have sleep problems I tend to let myself fall asleep on my own rather than taking something to aid in my sleep. Unless I have something important to do the next day.

TIP: For those suffering from some kind of insomnia a nice cup of warm herbal tea always helps me.
