Sonia Kashuk Knock Out Beauty Smokey Eye Brush Set
I purchased the Sonia Kashuk knock out beauty smokey eye brush set at Target a few weeks back. I pulled the brushes out of the box and then forgot about them so here we go. The main reason why I wanted this set in the first place was because I wanted to purchase the precision pencil brush which is about $13 or $14 dollars on its own. This set was on clearance for $13.98 so to me this set was a better deal. This set came with 6 brushes. The large eye shadow brush, angled crease brush, blending brush, angled liner brush, small eye shadow brush and the precision pencil brush.
If you want to purchase this set I do believe it is still available online. The best part is that it's cheaper now. The last time I checked it was $9.98 on Target while I purchased mine for $13.98. You get a better deal.
All the brushes feel super soft. If I read correctly these brushes are made with goat hair. So if you don't like animal products DO NOT BUY. Funny thing about this set is that angled liner brush in my set has a white hair. I didn't see it until I brought it home. Washed it just in case but I have not fully and completely put these brushes to the test. Feel free to stick around to see how I feel about them once I use them a few more times.

Wet N Wild Brushes
Last week some time I finally had the chance to go to the bigger Dollar Tree store in my area. I mainly went to look for party supplies for my kids birthday party but I happened to walk into the beauty section. Anyway, I found a few of the Wet n Wild brushes that I've been hearing on youtube so I decided to pick up the ones I thought I'd use the most.
I picked up the Smokey Liner Brush and the Crease Brush. I feel like these are the types of brushes that I have a lot of but I always need more of. Mainly because I'm too lazy to clean my brush. However, as of late I've been kind of busy so I haven't really had the chance to put on makeup. Maybe in the near future I'll be posting an eye look or a full face or something along those lines.
I haven't used either one but they feel super soft. I ran them over my eye to see how they felt and they weren't prickly or anything. I do have high hopes for these two. I believe I bought both of them for a $1 each. Not sure because we all know I lose my receipts before I ever even make it home.
Sorry I didn't take more or better photos of the brushes but I'll give you guys a teaser for a possible next few posts...

ZzzQuil
I'm not sure if this is readily available just yet but when it is I do have a $2 coupon that I intend to use. I'm the type of person who even though I have sleep problems I tend to let myself fall asleep on my own rather than taking something to aid in my sleep. Unless I have something important to do the next day.
TIP: For those suffering from some kind of insomnia a nice cup of warm herbal tea always helps me.

Michaels Haul
I went to Michaels last week! Yay me!
I was watching a few youtube videos and noticed that people were getting some nice deals so I took it upon myself to go check them out. I think I missed a big sale but I don't really shop at Michaels so it doesn't really bother me. And I'm actually waiting for the tax holiday weekend in about a week so I can get the planner stuff I wanted. Which is actually another reason why I went. I wanted to see what my Michaels had in stock. But that's for another day...hopefully soon.
I purchased 4 scrapbook type paper pads from Michaels and I'm pretty happy with them. I also got a pretty decent deal on all them too so I'm pretty proud of myself. They're all normally priced at $19.99 but I got them for either $5.00 or $5.99 a piece. Not entirely sure since I've already lost my receipt.

Paper Pads Haul!
Recollections: Playing with food
A few of my favorite pages
Pink Paislee: Memorandum
Craft Smith: Melon Patch
Crate Paper: Hello Love
I know people tend to use these for scrap-booking but I think I'm going to be using them for my planner. I see all these etsy sticker hauls and I seriously think is overrated. I'd rather just cut up some paper to fit, add a little adhesive dot roller and I'm done. Cheaper and I get exactly what I want.
TEASER ALERT: My next post might just be a food post.

Life Update
Sorry, I haven't been posting. It's been a busy month. I'll be posting soon. I'm supposed to be getting a voxbox but I haven't had a chance to go to the mail box. Hopefully, it's here already. Just FYI I am not lazy. Our drive way is on a sharp corner so our mail box is actually next to our neighbors down the road. I also happen to live out in the boonies so our neighbor isn't as close as you think. To add on top of all that I live on a main highway too so that makes it harder since I just can't walk over to it. My husbands been taking my car to work all week and I can't drive his car(manual) so I'm kind of stuck. I would go through our yard but it being mainly trees I'd prefer not to. Mainly because of all the ticks and chiggers.
Like I said. I will be checking out my mail box soon. Hopefully, I will have something up next week. Thanks!

If you have a Ross near you I would recommend checking it out as fast as possible! Why? Well because I found this super awesome deal there. I went to Ross on Tuesday and found this Real Techniques Deluxe Gift Set for only $12.99 which retails for $30 on the Real Techniques site.
If you can't get your hands on this set they are also available on amazon at a higher price though.

Julep Your Lip Addiction Tinted Lip Oil Treatment
Today, I bring to you the Julep your lip addiction tinted lip oil treatment in the shade Covet. I received this in the May 2016 Julep box. I was NOT sent this. I paid for it in a sense. I used my points to get the box basically free. Which is basically the only reason why I've stayed with them. Anyway...back to the product.
Covet is a sheer pretty pinky-red shade. It has a slight fruity candy smell but not over powering to say the least. After applied the smell does go away. Just in case some of you think its going to taste like anything. It tastes just like oil.
The applicator is kind of funny to describe but you can see from the photo it's like a two sided doe foot applicator.
BEFORE
AFTER
As you can see my lips are pretty pigmented on their own. The first time I put this on I seriously thought it wasn't going to show up but it did. I feel like it kind of actually stains my lips even though they don't make this claim.
I think the real question everyone has is "if it's an oil will it rub off" and the answer is yes and no. After applying the product I have to let it kind of dry down which is only about 10 - 15 mins. I've noticed that if I let it dry before doing anything the oil will rub off making my lips less shiny through out the day but the pigment doesn't rub off with the oil.
I noticed that while I was drinking tea I could clearly see oil marks left by my lips on the mug. But there was no actual color transfer. I was drinking out of a white mug so from what I could tell maybe in the very slightest transfer but not much to the point that there was obvious color left behind.
I also noticed that after I used the lip oil my lips felt dryer than they were before I used it. It made my lips soft but the dry, cracked parts felt even dryer like how they would right before my lips start cracking and peeling in the winter. It's a very hard thing to describe.
Overall, it isn't bad but it isn't amazing to the point where I feel you have to run out and buy it.
