Makeup & Nails

Since I've been pregnant I've stopped using makeup and doing my nails but I did both of these today!  Mainly out of boredom but I still did it.  Pregnancy can really drain you but it is also very rewarding.

WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE DOOR HANDLE

Every time I''m in a public restroom I tend to not touch the door handles if there's a door. I wash my hands with soap and water, dry my hands with a paper towel, open the door with my dirtied paper towel, hold the door open with my foot, throw the paper towel away, and walk out.  People look at me weird when I'm in the restroom and I open the door without touching the door handle.  I don't find it weird at all that I don't want to touch the door handle.

AND THIS IS THE REASON WHY!

Sunday evening my husband and I went to Furrs.  I like to use the restroom before I eat at any place.  So, I was in the restroom and the restroom only has three stalls.  After using the toilet I came out to wash my hands.  While I was washing my hands this little girl came out from the stall next to where I was.  She too started washing her hands.  When I began washing the hand soap off my hands I heard the toilet from the big stall flush.  This elderly lady walks out of the stall and GRABS THE DOOR HANDLE to the door and WALKS OUTWITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS!  *UHHHH...DUMBFOUNDED* I was petrified at the thought of that old lady not washing her hands in a public restroom.  Not only that it was a PUBLIC restroom it was a RESTAURANTS RESTROOM.

I can not even begin to imagine how many people have touched that door handle before she did or how many more people will touch that door handle after she did.  I was just so disgusted!  So please people, wash your hands after using the restroom.  Especially if your in a public place.

First Anniversary

As we make our way through life we notice that there's a first to everything.  A first birthday, first LOVE, first Child, and so on and so forth.  My husband and myself are having our FIRST ANNIVERSARY today.  However, due to work we couldn't celebrate our first anniversary today or Saturday so we decided to do something Sunday.

Sundays weather wasn't the finest of all days but it wasn't as bad as thunder and lightening the whole day.  It was a bit humid to begin with but as we made our way to Fort Smith the cloudy skies cleared and the sun peeped through just a bit.  We had completely no idea what we wanted to do so we both decided that it would be like an impromptu date.  Very similar to a impromptu speech we established that we would do whatever came to mind.

Exiting off Rogers we drove past many fast foods, restaurants, and buffets.  My husband, being the way he is decided he wanted to eat at Furrs Fresh Buffet.  I don't mind buffets so I agreed and we had a blast!  Taking our time to eat we chatted about my husbands work, his buddies, an incident that happened while I was in the rest room, and this whole year that we've been married.  That has been the most we have talked in over a couple of months, which I think made us both very satisfied.

After our meal we came to the conclusion that we would go to the mall for a little stroll to work off the food we had just eaten.  We weren't at the mall long before my husband said he wanted to go to the movies.  Malco theaters being just across the street, I agreed.  We ended up getting a 6:50 showing for Fast Five.  Only after buying a large soda did we sit down in the arcade area.

Being a picky person that I am, after about twenty or thirty minutes I wanted to go find a seat.  When we reached the ticket guy he told us to go back to the information/ticketing area and they would set us up with different tickets.  Apparently some one messed up the tickets and show times.  We ended up getting our tickets refunded and landing with free passes to 7:10 showing of Fast Five.  All in all, our first anniversary wasn't that bad.  I enjoyed every moment I spent with my husband this year and especially this very special Sunday.  I had a very safe and happy anniversary and I hope everyone has a very happy and safe rest of the year!

My Favorite Hair Product Ever

HerStyler Hair Serum is the best hair product ever!  I've been using this hair product for over a year now and this would be my second bottle.  Personally this hair product works better on me than the Chi Silk Infusion.  The two fl. oz. bottle costs about $50, which is kind of pricey but very much worth it.

(length of what my hair use to be VS approximate length of hair now)

My hair before I had it cut was almost elbow length.  The bottle lasted me a while but I cut my hair and the bottle lasted me a little longer then 6 months.  My hair now is only a little bit off my shoulders plus or minus a little but the hair serum has lasted me almost a whole year now.

Baby's Second Ultrasound

April 19, 2011

Today was BABY'S second ultrasound and the day we find out its GENDER!!!!  Our appointment wasn't till 11:15 so my hubby and I decided to go get some exercise at the mall like old people do.  It was a funny experience walking around with no one but elderly people. We ended up just walking around doing stupid things and taking stupid pictures.

Afterwards we went to the clinic for baby's ultrasound.  The ultrasound tech told us it was a BOY as soon as she put the gel and the ultrasound thing on my belly.  It was poking out like a sore thumb. It made me giggle and happy all at the same time.  How quickly life passes you by without you noticing much.  Be happy for what you've got and love those who love you in return.

ITS A BOY
