Coral Smokey Eyes

Hey guys! I did my makeup this past weekend but didn't get around to posting. I had a wedding to go to and it was memorial day weekend which I was spending with my family. I hope you guys will understand and forgive my late posting. I hope you guys enjoy it.

This is the look I ended up coming up with. It's just a really simple coral wash all over the lid, a red toned brown as a transition color, and a dark grey almost black color in the outer corner. I put a golden bronze color under my inner corner and smudged the same grey/black color on the outer corners under my eye.

This is the ELF 24K 32 piece eyeshadow palette that I used. I haven't used this since I purchased it other than swatch it but I'm happy I finally decided to use it. The quality of this palette is a lot better than the normal big palettes ELF sells. This was a limited edition palette so you probably won't be able to purchased this anymore. I will be posting a full review with swatches up soon so stay tuned.

Palmolive® soft touch

I mentioned a few blogs ago that I received my Influenster Voxbox that contained 2 Palmolive Soft Touch Dish Liquids. One with Vitamin E and the other is with Coconut Butter. I kept the Vitamin E for myself and gave the Coconut Butter dish liquid to my mom. Both of us have been enjoying them as they work amazing. It gets rid of the toughest grease and yet gentle enough on my hands. The subtle smell of the dish liquid is a plus.
If you have received this Voxbox and haven't reviewed the product you can do that HERE! If you didn't get this in a Voxbox and would like to try it or purchase it you can go online HERE. It is also available at your local Wal-Mart. I hope you guys enjoyed this quick review and I will see you guys later!

Spring Nail Art - NOTD

I did this nail art using my new Zoya nail polish from Ipsy. I hope you guys enjoy this quick post!
This was what I came up with. Very simple and all the bright colors just pop and scream spring and summer to me. All I did to achieve this look was sponge on all the colors.

 Polishes Used:
PRO FX Complete 3
Sinful Colors Savage
Sally Hansen Coral Reef
Zoya Julie
Sinful Colors Innocent
Savage is a gorgeous creme teal blue color. A great summer blue polish for toes and fingers

Coral Reef is a bright neon pink. This shade would be the prettiest summer color as it is "in" right.

Julie is a beautiful pastel lilac color with micro silver shimmers. A gorgeous all year round kind of color.

Innocent is a yellow based lime green color. I think this color looks a lot better on your fingers than your toes. Honestly I just can't seem to see anyone wearing this kind of color on their nails. But  who knows I may be wrong.

NOTD 05.15.13 Featuring Joan & Check Me Out

I did my nails a few nights ago but didn't get to blog so here it is. It's super simple and cute. ENJOY!
THE FINISHED LOOK
PRODUCTS USED:
Julep Nail Color in Joan
-Dark burgandy red with red micro shimmers.
Loreal Paris Nail Color in Check Me Out
-Bright doll house pink with micro shimmers.

Joan is a beautiful dark burgandy red. It has red micro shimmers that almost look gold when reflecting in the light. My photos do this color no justice what so ever. What you see in the bottle is what you will get on your nails in one coat. I love this color and I would totally recommend it.

On my accent nails I used Check Me Out by Loreal. In the bottle it is a bright barbie pink with blue micro shimmers and gives off a blue sheen. On the nails it is basically a bright barbie pink with little to no shimmers. Not even a blue sheen. You have to look very closely in order to even notice the micro shimmers. The bottle is very deceiving but it is none the less a very pretty color.

If you would like to check Julep out I will leave my invitation link below.

The infamous pink bubble mailer!
The theme for this months bag was Spring Fling. Along with the card telling all the brands for this moth I also received a NuMe gift certificate voucher thing.

THE REVEAL!!!!
Item number one in my bag was the Pacifica Island Vanilla Perfume Roll-On. The bottle is .33 fl oz/ 10 ml and smells amazing. This smell reminds me of Vanilla Bean Noel by Bath and Body works that comes out every year during Christmas.
The second item is the NuMe Finishing Serum. It comes in a blue bottle with a stopper lid. The stopper feels cheaply made so I hope it doesn't break on me. I have not used this item but I think I will enjoy this once I finish using my Big And Sexy hair care item I received in last months bag. It does have a smell but not enough to bother me so I don't really mind it.
Next up is the Yaby concealer in pecan. Honestly I'm not sure how I feel about this but I will definitely be trying it out and tell you my thoughts on it.
Fourth item is this Mirabella lipstick in the color Daydream. The color is a nude, dusty rose color with silver micro shimmers. I'm not a big fan of lipsticks with shimmer but I am open to trying out new things.
Lastly is the Zoya nail polish that everyone has been anticipating. The color I received is called Julie. It is a gorgeous soft lilac purple with blue/silver micro shimmers. A great summer color which I will definitely be wearing.

What I Received In My Influenster Box!

I've been waiting for this box for a few weeks now and it finally came in the mail! When I first got the invite from Influenster they called it the Featured May Dish Product saying I was pre-selected. I did the normal Influenster steps and I was selected as the...however many there were selected to be sent a box. I checked in my Influenster VoxBox and the official name for this VoxBox is the Palmolive soft touch.
I want to mention something really quick as it was disturbing to see when I received the box is that it was open. Not like it had accidentally been ripped open during the ride but as if someone had actually cut the tape to look inside. I am not sure if it was the mail man or if some one was trying to steal my mail. I am not sure but everyone in my household claims didn't open it. Anyway back to the box.
The two bottles I received are the Palmolive soft touch with Coconut Butter(left) and the Vitamin E(right) with their "New Formula". I have not used either yet as I will be giving one to my mom. My first impressions of the "Ultra Concentrated Dish Liquid" has not had my standards set too high since I am a major Dawn fan. My honest opinion when I first opened the package I thought the liquid was rather runny. The smells on the other hand are nice. The coconut butter one smells like coconuts with another kind of smell that I can't exactly put my finger on. On the other hand the vitamin E dish liquid caught me by surprise as it has a floral smell but with a note of citrus.

I actually like the Vitamin E one just a little bit more so I think I'm going to end up keeping that one and giving my mom the coconut butter. I can not wait to start using my new dish soap so until I post a review I will be seeing you all next time.

Mall Haul

VICTORIA'S SECRET
This is actually a few weeks old but I thought I might as well mention it. I had a $5 gift card that I got from WRAPP a few weeks ago so I decided to check out what they had. I didn't particularly want anything so I just picked up this Victoria's Secret spray in Heartbreaker.

CHARLOTTE RUSSE
I picked up this black cardigan because it was on sale for $10. It had like a foot print on the shoulder so I guess that was why it was on sale. Super cute transition piece though and I'm happy I picked it up.

I got these set of earrings which are super cute. I got this set mainly for the rose and the studded pair of earrings. They were having a buy 2 for $10 on jewelry so I picked up another set and gave them to my sister-in-law as a birthday gift.

BATH AND BODY WORKS
I purchased this piggy scentportable from bath and body works for my husbands car. The scent my husband picked for his car was the eucalyptus mint. The scent throw isn't too bad but for any of those people who are sensitive and don't like medium to strong smells this would not be for you. It's not too strong but it did give a head ache and took me a few days to get use to. My husband on the other hand was fine with the smell and so were my kids.

As for the scent itself I'm not sure on how to describe it. It smells kind of herby with a touch of ginger. If you've ever had a Chinese ginger candy then this smells exactly like that with a pinch of the Chinese flower candies.

Bath and body works was having their buy 3 get 2 free so I picked these up after picking 3 twilight woods items for my sister in law. I got myself the Rio Rumberry triple moisture body cream and the Rio Rumberry glowing body scrub.

When I use the body cream it smells more citrusy slash pineapple with a light pinch of berriness to it. The berry smell to me is more of an after note rather than your first initial smell. I prefer that smell but I am thinking of trying out the other two scents from the escape collection when bath and body works has their semi-annual sale this summer.

The glowing body scrub I got this mainly for scrubbing my underarms, elbows, and kneecaps. I intend to use this to replace my sample sugar scrub that I used up from my birchbox. It feels nothing like a sugar or salt scrub but that is fine to me because it still does the job that I wanted to use it for. It feels kind of gritty like sand but a much more finely milled. When in the shower I honestly don't really smell anything but its fine because I got this to scrub my body not to smell good.

All in all I love everything that I purchased and can not wait to use everything.
