Little Brown Box Swap

I said a few posts ago I think or I think I made a post on LUUUX that myself and a few other Little Black Bag ladies would be doing a Little Brown Box swap to take the place of LBB. This was during their "new changes" which no one liked. Anyways the maximum amount of money spent was supposed to be $50. With at least 1 big item like a bag or a pair of shoes and two smaller items like jewelry, cosmetics or something along those lines.

This is my box that I received from a wonderful lady from West Virginia.

The main item I received was this cute Steve Madden crossbody. I adore it!  I told the lady I was open to any brand and color but I love crossbody bags, hobos, and satchels. I think she had an amazing pick being that she has never met me and barely knows anything about me.

The second item I completely fell in love with are these Robert Rose earrings. They look so feminine and are just so gorgeous.

The third item which I am also loving are these cute dainty bow earrings.

I almost forgot to mention this amazing blue scarf that she got me and I can not wait to wear it. I've really been into scarves lately so I'm super excited about this particular item.

She also found this amazing set by Figaro Couture. The set includes a watch, a pair of earrings, and a matching necklace.

The last item I got was this L'Oreal Paris nail polish set. The colors included are numbers 104 Penthouse Pink which is a pale pink. Number 102 Boozy Brunch which is like a coral orange color. Check Me Out number 103 which is like a bright Barbie pink with blue shimmers. The last color is number 112 The Perfect Trench which is like a pale mustard yellow.

I love everything she got me and I hope the lady that I had likes her items. I will see guys later in another post!

TJ MAXX + Thrif Haul

I went grocery shopping yesterday and ended up picking up a few items from my local TJ Maxx and Goodwill. Most people don't like thrift shopping but I love it. You can always find great items that are very affordable. Anyways on to the haul!

My family and I went to Goodwill to find my husband a blue collared shirt and a blue floral dress for my daughter for our family photos on the 21st. My husband is as much a bargain shopper as I am so he doesn't mind thrifting. I had to pick up a few items before we left so here are the items I picked up for myself.

Can't Tap This. Shirt - $4.00
White Button Sweater - $4.00

We then went on to TJ Maxx to find my husband a vest to go along with his blue collared shirt. Sadly we couldn't find anything but I ended up finding a few items for myself again.

I found these American Eagle Outfitters blue floral shorts for only $12.99.

I purchased these Tinseltown Denim Couture beige floral shorts for $14.99.

I've been working out lately so when I saw this Yoga/Pilates Mat that was $14.99 marked down to $10.00 I knew I had to get it. Below are the care instructions for this mat.

We couldn't find my husband a vest but we did get him a $90 Michael Kors belt and a striped tie that was $9.99 each. I think we had some awesome finds and I can't wait to go back to look for more affordable items.

Ipsy April 2013

I received my Ipsy bag for the month of April today. I am so excited...kind of. Well at least for the most part YES.
*QUICK NOTE: I know I usually put my blog name on my photos but I know if I don't post this up now without my blog name...then I'm probably never going to be able to post this up.*

Card on the LEFT side is the normal Ipsy card with the theme "Pretty In Pink".
Card on the RIGHT is an Invitation to Generation Beauty in L.A. with a 60% off code to reserve a ticket.

be a..bombshell blush in Beach Please
->Matte Hot Pink

Mica Beauty Cosmetics Shimmer Powder in number 72 Earth.

Last item is a Sation Nail Lacquer in the color I'll Call You
-> Very sheer pink (may need 3 to 4 coats to be opaque)

All in all I was pretty happy with the April Ipsy bag. The only thing I was kind of upset about was that I'm not a big loose eyeshadow kind of person. I find it to be too messy and I would of preferred the two cosmetics duo eyeshadow. Like I said in my other posts though it was only $10 so for $10 I think my money was well spent.

My only rant for this month is that when my bag came in my Mica Beauty eyeshadow cap was almost completely off of the jar. It's a good think it was sealed or it would have been a nightmare.
