DUP Wonder Eyelid Tape Point VS Extra

Everyone and their mother has heard of the DUP wonder eyelid tape. YAH!

But seriously, I've known about them for about a good six years now but never felt the need to jump at purchasing it. As of late I've been noticing my right eye has getting worse. I do NOT have monolids but it is heavily hooded. How I know this is because my left eye is a double because the crease is pretty obvious. I can see the crease on my right eye but the excess skin on my lid covers the crease making it look like a monolid. Thus the name a hooded lid. The main reason I know I have a hooded lid is because a few years back my mom had eyelid surgery because her hooded eyes were so bad.

Now...I will NOT be doing before and after photos or how to use the eyelid tape because there are so many on the web. However, I will show the difference between the Point and the Extra. I never purchased the Mild version since I didn't feel the need but I'm pretty sure it is somewhere in between the two.
DUP Wonder Eyelid Tape Point

As you can see the Point has 180 pieces in rows of two. They are rather short and rounded. I purchased mine off of Amazon for about $12 to $13 depending on who you purchase from.

When I purchased the Point I didn't realize they were so small but if you do accidentally purchase the Point you can do what I did and link together 2-3 pieces and place it on your eye. Another option is to apply one at a time and just overlap them until you get to the end of your eye.

DUP Wonder Eyelid Tape Extra

I also purchased the Extra from Amazon if you're interested. I paid $11.50 and as you can see it is a lot longer and kind of pointed at the ends.

With the Extra I use only one piece and it usually sits all day. My lids do get oily throughout the day but not overly oily to the point where my makeup slips off so I didn't have a problem. Even after I took it off my eye would keep its shape for a good amount of time. However, you do have to be careful when placing the tap on your lids. Because the tape is so pointy at the ends it can occasionally poke and irritate the inside corner of your eyes/skin like it did mine the first few times that I used it.

Shape and Size Comparison

Right: Point
Left: Extra

As you can see there is a major difference in the sizes and now you know why you kind of have to use two to three pieces of the Point to get it across your eye.

Left: Point
Right: Extra
For those of you who are not familiar with the size of the two they are about the size of two quarters.

Storage

Because the Wonder Eyelid Tapes are so small I was afraid that I was going to lose them so I put both of them inside a travel q-tip container that I had laying around. This way they stay together and I won't accidentally lose one...or both.
